These Terms of Use apply to solarbayan.com (“SolarBayan”), a personally operated educational publication. “We”, “us”, and “our” refer to the operator of SolarBayan. What SolarBayan provides
We publish solar-energy guides, comparisons, product information, and calculators for readers interested in Philippine homes and small properties. We are an information publisher, not a solar installer, electricity supplier, equipment manufacturer, or professional design service. Reading an article, using a calculator, or contacting us does not create a professional adviser–client relationship.
Educational information and electrical safety
Our content is general information, not a site assessment, installation instruction, engineering approval, or individualized financial, tax, or legal advice. Solar panels, batteries, inverters, and electrical wiring can present fire, shock, and equipment-damage risks. Have a suitably qualified professional assess your site, equipment compatibility, wiring, protection, and applicable utility and regulatory requirements before buying or installing a system. Do not use this website as authority to connect equipment to household wiring or the electricity grid.
Calculators, examples, and estimates
Our tools depend on the information you enter and the assumptions displayed with the calculation. Preset appliance loads, sunlight values, efficiency factors, electricity rates, prices, and operating hours are illustrations unless a source and context are expressly provided. Results are not guarantees of runtime, savings, payback, generation, appliance startup, or equipment compatibility.
Actual performance can differ because of weather, shading, temperature, battery condition, depth of discharge, inverter idle consumption and efficiency, startup demand, system configuration, installation quality, tariffs, maintenance, and changing loads. Check the exact manufacturer specifications and verify important calculations independently. A recommendation or numerical result is not an electrical installation design.

We aim to provide useful, accurate information, but content can contain errors or become outdated.
