Find out how an appliance’s usage pattern affects its electricity consumption and estimated operating cost. Enter wattage, hours per day, days per month and a PHP/kWh rate from your own bill; the calculator does not assume a current utility tariff.
Formula and assumptions: daily kWh = watts × hours ÷ 1,000. Monthly kWh = daily kWh × usage days. Monthly PHP = monthly kWh × entered rate. Annual cost repeats the monthly pattern for 12 months; it is not a separate 365-day usage model.
Household example: an appliance averaging 100W for eight hours on 30 days uses 0.8kWh per usage day and 24kWh per month. At an illustrative PHP12/kWh, estimated cost is PHP288/month and PHP3,456/year if that monthly pattern continues. PHP12 is an example, not a verified current rate from a provider.
